Does This Look Like A Man Who Was Arrested For Attempted Robbery?

Arrests can’t come any easier than this. French gendarmes called to a robbery found the suspected thief stuck in a hole he’d made with a hammer in a shop window, per AP. The national gendarmerie on Sunday published a photo appearing to show the man half-in and half-out of the hole. “Drunk, he robbed a shop but got stuck … in the window before being arrested,” the gendarmerie tweeted, with the hashtag “ThugLife.” The 46-year-old man was arrested Thursday morning in the Pyrenees town of Mauleon-Licharre in southwest France. Firefighters were called to free the man, who was then taken into custody.

Embarrassing. Being caught as a thief must be the worst. Everybody hates thieves. So, you know when you’re going to jail people are talking mad shit about you. Friends. Family. People you haven’t spoken to in years but are still kinda friends with on facebook but you have them muted from your timeline because you can’t stand their ignorant political statuses. All those folks are just gonna be running their mouths saying shit like:

“Oh, you hear about Pierre? That grimy bastard was caught stealing.”

“Pierre? Pierre from Mauleon-Licharre in southwest France?”

“Yep. That’s him. He was drunk as a skunk and crawled in the store. He beat the window in with a hammer and get this. This French fuck was stuck in the window until the cops came. Took a picture of him and everything.”

“Quoi! Il a fait ça! Quelle folie!”

“Triste!”
